Where information lives
Local-only items stay on the device; sent or workspace information may be managed online under access rules. Sign-in does not turn MY DATA into a cloud backup. Read storage notices and use supported exports for your own copy.
Three different actions
Sign-out ends a session scope defined by the app; disconnecting Google revokes a connection or access; deletion removes information within the requested scope. None fully replaces the others. Preserve needed copies before changing devices or ending an account.
Business and recipient information
Leaving a business or project does not necessarily erase content it is entitled to retain. Deleting your own message copy does not guarantee deletion of recipients’ saved copies. Specify the person, product and scope for a data request, or ask [email protected] for guidance.
